About the service

The reason behind the repository is to offer a way to archive and/or mirror the file base either for personal reasons or through fear that The UNIX Files may vanish (which it will not, though). The repository also enables users to upload software not yet on The UNIX Files, and by doing that helping our archiving efforts.

All the files in the repository are synchronized every three (3) hours beween our mirrors.
 

Anti-Hammering

Your IP may get blocked if you try to sign in too many times (5 times under 1 minute). In case of accidents, like the client attempting to open more connections and failing several times in a row, please use the contact form and we'll assist as soon as possible.
